Quick and cheap communication system is necessary to take advantage of technological developments around the globe. The present computer technology communication system has become easier, faster and more economic than earlier traditional methods with the advent of satellite communication system. The present paper traces the developments in the field of communication technology and presents an overview of information websites in the field of fisheries research and development and suggests a suitable communication model with speedy transmission and instant accessibility.
