Drosicha dalbergia (Green) overwintered as first instar nymph in the rhizosphere of almond trees and resumed activity in the subsequent year during March-April. The nymph ascended the host plant and clustered in the axil of twigs, cracks/crevices in number ranging from 10-50. In laboratory, the bug passed through five nymphal instars with overwintering first instar occupying 170-180 days. Natural enemies viz., Coccinella septumpunctata Linn, Harmonia dimidata (Fab.), Chrysoperla carnea Stph. and a potential parasitoid Cryptochaetum sp. were found associated with the pest.
