Probiotic action preparation for animal husbandry

Microbial preparations made on a basis of lactic acid bacteria, in contrast with chemioterapeutic preparations, favour to normalization of microflora of gastrointestinal tract of human and animals and do not cause side effects. The authors, together with the workers of the institute of epydemiology, microbiology and infections diseases, have investigated antagonistic properties of wheat mesofilic lactic culture (MLC) on a base of association of lactic bacteria strains in relation to the bacteria of intestinal group and staphylococci. The preparation in the doses 4 and 8 % to the total weight of an animal introduced to all-mash composition and feeding of calves was carried out during 3 months. In the process of feeding, mean daily gain of youngsters in the test groups greater than in control ones, by 4,5 and 11,9 %, correspondentlyin amino acid composition and relation of nonessential and essential amino acids and in content of lactic bacteria, the preparation is referred to valuable food additives of therapeutic and prophylactic action.
