[Correlative analysis of tests and examinations results in mathematics at Estonian Agricultural University]

In the beginning of this academic year the author made a test for the first-year students in mathematics which was common in all Nordic and Baltic Agricultural universities (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia). The test contained elementary questions based on the material of secondary school mathematics. Students had to pick up the right answer amongst alternative answers. The article suggests that a student will be able to pass the university mathematics program successfully if his/her test results are good. The research is based on data which contains information about 555 students.
