Process for the regeneration of the coconut palm from explant comprising the stages of: a) induction of callus formation from explants; b) induction of embryogenesis on the callus-obtaining embryonic structures; c) maturation of the embryos; d) caulogenesis, and e) rhizogenesis. The maturation of the embryos is carried out by subculting these structures in a medium containing neither activated carbon nor auxin, and containing at least a cytokinin
