The population fluctuation of Chrysopa carnea, Steph. (Neuroptera, Chrysopidae) in term number of eggs per plant with respect to plant spacing was studied weekly in cotton for eleven weeks from six leave stage of crop. The population was found increasing with the growth of cotton plant in both spacing (2.5 cm & 45 cm) but it was significant and correlation was highly positive (r = 0.926) in fields where the plant spacing was 22.5 cm. The correlation value "r" was 0.204 for fields where plant spacing was 45 cm.
