Geomean Haemolysins titer values such as 25.60 plus minus 8.76, 120.00 plus minus 85.79 and 104.00 plus minus 88.72 were noted in Nick Chick laying hens followed by 19.20 plus minus 7.16 and 80.00 plus minus 48.00 in Fayoumi, 64.0 plus minus 39.19 in Cross subsequent to SRBCs inoculation for priming, then as 1st and 2nd booster. In response to ND vaccination (Makteswar strain) which was injected after 15 days of second booster of SRBCs, one as priming and two as boosters, higher geomean antibodies titer values such as 42.00 plus minus 66.11 in Fayoumi and 52.00 plus minus 26.83 and 144.00 plus minus 104.31 in Desi chicken was noted as a result of priming, 1st and 2nd booster injections, respectively. It may be concluded that immune system of Desi chickens as compared with Fayoumi, Cross and Nick Chick birds would respond better to ND vaccination if initial priming is induced with some non specific immunogen prior to vaccination.
