Simple correlation and path coefficient analysis have been worked out among the quantitative characters in wheat variety Sindh-81. Phenotypic correlations have been studied between number of spikes per plant, number of spikelets per spike, harvest index and yield per plant. Correlation coefficients were significant either at 0.01 or 0.05 levels of probability in all character combinations. Further partitioning of correlation coefficient into direct and indirect path ways of influences on yield was number of grains per spike followed by number by spikes per plant.
