The study included the available data on phenotypic and productive characteristics of Yemeni Zebu, Soqatri and imported cattle. The study also demonstrated the most important factors which restrict livestock development. A descriptive summary of the sustainable rural development strategy, a definition of the general objectives for livestock development and recommendations of executing plan for cattle production were included.
