Feed Research and Development Network in the Arab Countries - Feed Resources in the Republic of Yemen

The Yemen has a distinguished diversity in their natural resources. Range lands, in despite of their deterioration, still produce a considerable number of dry matter representibg 53 of the total feed resources in addition to agricultural by products such as green fodder and concentrates. Feed balance is negative and a clear defect is found in the various feed compositions which require development of feed resources. This paper clarifies the methods of such developments.
