The basic physical and mechanical properties and rheological parameters of model and real liquid feeds consisting of VUL type mixture for fattening pigs were studied. The particle size of dry mixtures, the dry matter of liquid feeds and applied liquid markedly influenced the volume weight, sedimentation and rheological parameters. The volume weight of liquid feeds rose with dry matter content. On the contrary the sedimentation decreased (in the model feeds). As follows from the analysis, the shear stress rose with increasing the speed gradient and the dry matter content. The liquid feeds from mixture of VUL type and liquid behaved as pseudoplastic liquids. The highest value of consistency coefficient from model feeds had the liquid feed with 29.0 % dry matter (2.7908 Pa.sn) and from actual feed the one with 27.2% dry matter content (4.5390 Pa.sn), to the preparation of which skim milk was used. Accounts of flow index rose with increasing dry matter content
