The relationship between agricultural production and the country has passed a complex process in Slovakia. The intensity and standard of agricultural production have always accelerated the country development on all levels. The current condition is a result of differences in economic and social development. It is impossible to preserve the country spirit without preserving agricultural production. It is therefore necessary to define the development conditions and to search for the alternatives of a solution to the relationship of agricultural production and rural-type settlements
