This research was carried out at University of Ankara, Faculty of Agriculture, Field Crops Department, experimental field in 1996. Seeds collected from thirty different anise production area were used as study material. Experiment was conducted in randomised block design with three replications. Sowing rate was 2 kg/da and rows were spaced 30 cm apart
