Application of the new feeding standards in cattle and buffaloes (1995) for assesment of protein reqirement in fattening of calves

The results from 9 traits involving 19 groups of fattening calves were processed. The intake of CP, PDI, BPR and the requirements according to the new standards and the received weight gain were calculated. It was established that the intake of CP is 9% higher than the requied and the these is no difference between the consumed and required PDI. The analyses supporrt the new norms.
