In 1999-2001 we determined species composition of sunflower diseases and their prevalence in perspective sunflower cultivars in South-west region of Ukraine. More then 160 cultivars of domestic and foreign selection from diffrent maturity groups were analyzed. By plant inspection the presence of disease, its name and severity were assessed
