[Analytical estimation of the number of swine herds being evaluated according to the law about integrated prevention and limitation of pollution]

The Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic has prepared a new law representing the implementation of the Council Directive 96/61/ES on integrated pollution prevention and control (IPPC). This new law will concern also pig producers rearing more than 2,000 pigs of 30 kg of live weight and pig breeders with more than 750 sows. About 380 piggeries will be evaluated after the adoption of this new law.
