With the regulation of the 20th of July 1998, the relationship between buyers and purchasers has changed. Most of the suppliers have taken the opportunity to look for new alternatives to reduce the weight of packaging. With the sudden change of cost of raw materials (plastics, paper .... ) increase or decrease, the purchasing strategy can be seen either in a short term, or in a long term. In a short term, the purchaser will try to change of suppliers, with the same quality of product (services, delivery terms....), but at a lower price . In a long term, the negotiations for prices will be softer. In any case, either the Quality Department and the production should be very cautious about the quality
