The farmers participation and a dynamic farmers group in land rehabilitation and soil conservation: a case study in Solo watershed stream (Indonesia)

A program institution (technology and organization itself) as a very essential thing and as the sustainable process in the development. One of the formation of technology and organization institution in watershed development was done by government through Land Rehabilitation Program and Soil Conservation (RLKT), to farmers as a farmer group must be participated in the program accomplishment of RLKT. More over the participation of farmers as a "Farmer group" is should be relevant enough as an indicator to measure how for that program has been organized life in watershed area. The result of this research showed that the program has not been organized in the farmers life activity as the members of RLKT group. The leadership in a group is the main factor for growing and developing group creativity and making social relationship in stable and settled group. Both as two characteristic dynamic of RLKT group
