The objectives of this study was to determine the population density of C. cramerella larvae in cacao pod and the seed losses on cacao cultivars of Trinitario and Amelonado. The study was conducted in Toli-toli, Central Sulawesi. The experiment was laid out in completely randomized design with the cultivars as treatment. The study found that the population density of C. cramerella larvae on Trinitario and Amelonado were 1.79 and 1.58 per pod, respectively. The percentage of pod infestation were 68.8 percent on Trinitario and 58.8 percent on Amelonado. The seed losses on Trinitario and Amelonado were found to be 34.18 percent and 28.29 percent, respectively
