The objective of this study is to predict soil loss due to sheet and reel erosion on Wadaslintang reservoir catchment area, by Wischmeier's Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE). The collected data include primary data (soil texture, soil structure, organic matter content, soil permeability and crop culture), and secondary data (rainfall data in and around the research area, soil map, topography map and land use map). Rainfall erosivity (R) was predicted by using Bols method (1978), soil erodibility (K) was predicted by using monograph of Wischmeier (1971), slope length (L) and slope steepness (S) were predicted by using drainage density and contour length methods from William and Berndt (1977), and crop-soil management (CP) predicted by using USDA (1978) recommendation with some logical modification of present data basically. The observation region area was about 195.115 square km including the reservoir project about 16.577 square km. Rainfall erosivity (R) delivered between 3,617-5,117, soil erodibility (K) between 0.056-0.263 in metric unit, length-slope factor (LS) between 22.2-65.5, crop-soil management (CP) for rice field and forest are 0.0001, tree-crop land is 0.023, dry land is 0.030 and settlement is 0.078. Total soil loss annually due to sheet and riil erosion for the research area was approximately 6,989,498.168 ton/year or about 391.484 ton/ha/year
