The cross Hibro-G chickens at the age of 1-49 days was the material of the test. The cross Hibro-G broilers of the trial groups were fed the concentrates prepared by the "Iecavnieks" company. The concentrates of the trial groups contained: the 1st group 2% rape-seed oil, the 2nd group 2% soybean oil and 1% rapeseed oil, the 3rd group 2% soybean-oil and 2% rape-seed oil, the 4th group 3% soybean oil. In case of feeding 2% soybean and 2% rape-seed oil mixture the broilers assimilated fatty acids better than in case when feeding only soybean oil. Inclusion of 2% soybean and 2% rape-seed oil in broilers rations improved meat quality by increasing linoleic and oleic acid by 0.43% and 1.02%, decreased the content of cholesterol in muscular tissue mass and liver by 20.5 mg% and 38.6 mg %, respectively.
