The experiments aimed at evaluating the effect of first cut harvesting time on yielding and dry matter quality for Festulolium cv. Felopa. The scheme of experiment assumed the harvest of first cut at 5 terms, beginning from when the apex height of 10 cm above ground and followed by 4 every week cuts. The highest yields of dry matter were obtained at the beginning of grass flowering, whereas the highest protein yield - when the apex was 15 cm above the ground or at the early heading stage. First cut gathered at apex height 10-15 cm above the ground yielded the best percentage of leaves and the highest content of crude protein
