Paper presented the results of four-year studies to evaluating the usability of perennial ryegrass (9 varieties) in the mixture for cut performance on peat-bog soils. The evaluation was based upon yielding of the mixtures and share of perennial ryegrass varieties in hay yield. Perennial ryegrass varieties did not significantly differentiate average archived hay yields that ranged between 7.84 and 8.50 t/ha under conditions of limited nitrogen fertilization. However, strong differentiation was found in the share perennial ryegrass varieties in hay. In the 4th year of utilization it ranged from about 4.3 percent to about 34-38 percent
