Cultivation of hull-less oats - the present situation and the future

Utility value and some agrotechnical elements of hull-less oats are presented in the paper. The oats is an under estimated cereal, but the hull-less form of this species perhaps will take a special place in plant production in Poland. The grain of the hull-less cultivar Akt makes new quality because of the low fibre content as well as high protein and fat concentration. The hull-less oat can be used in animal feeds and in the food industry
