Functioning of sewage treatment plant at Wegierska Gorka village after its modernization

The study aimed at evaluating the efficiency of sewage treatment plant cooperating with 1912 farmsteads at Wegierska Gorka village, Beskid Zywiecki mountains. Over 18 months of investigations a total number of 63 sewage samples were analysed for BOD, COD, suspended load, nitrogen and phosphorus concentration. The results showed that permissible values of examined factors were exceeded in nearly 50% samples, what indicated abnormal functioning of tested sewage treatment plant
