The objective of the work was to evaluate the mineral adequacy of goats based on mineral element concentrations of the soil, the feed and the animal. Research was carried out on 2 Saanen goat farms, A and B during 1 year. Soils of pastures on both farms had acid pH and were deficient in P, Cu and Mg, and contained medium or high amounts of other elements. Blood chemistry of goats indicated low levels of inorganic P, Mg and Cu. Mineral analysis of hair confirmed low status of P, Cu and Zn
