Evaluation of water erosion on loess soil on the basis of plot studies

Results of water erosion studies on loess soil were presented. Analysis of data from plots of different length showed that process of erosion should be considered simultaneously in the terms of soil loss and the effective distance of soil transport. Soil losses expressed per unit area were similar to the data predicted from the USLE only inside the effective distance of soil transport (ranging from 2 to 13 m
