Buckwheat yield according to the use of growth regulators and their mixtures with magnesium sulphate

The regulators: benzylaminopurine (BAP), alpha-naphtylacetic acid (NAA), 3-indolebutyric acid (IBA), triacontanol (TRIA) and gibberellic acid (GA3) were leaf-applied, independently or in a mixture with a 5 percent aqueous solution of magnesium sulphate. It has been found out that GA3 caused a significant increase in the stem length and a decrease in the number and weight of buckwheat seeds per plant, while BAP significantly reduced the increase in stem length. Triacontanol-sprayed buckwheat produced a significantly lower above-ground total weight compared with the other regulators (except GA3). The applied growth regulators caused a decrease in the share of buckwheat seeds in the above-ground biomass, while an addition of magnesium sulphate to the solution of regulators (except BAP) had an influence on the growth of the share of seeds and leaves at the cost of stems and glumes
