Plants of stinging nettle (Urtica dioica L.) were collected on ten natural sites in Malopolska (Poland) and the content of Fe, Mn, Ni, Cr, Zn, Cu, Pb and Cd in their underground parts, leaves, stems and inflorescences was determined. In soil from observation sites the level of the same metals and some physical and chmical properties were analysed
