The paper presents results of investigations of a number of locations in Serbia (Yugoslavia) by using data series on: yearly mean temperature, precipitation in October, begin of foliation, falling of leaves and spring temperature sums. The trend line for the yearly mean temperature has a very strong rise in the last decade of the 20th century. The trend line for the precipitation in October demonstrates the decline of precipitation during the same decade, that coincide with the prevailing clear weather and high temperatures during the same period. The differences between the ordinal numbers of the days of falling leaves and begin of foliation, was taken as the measure of vegetation period. The trend line of the vegetational period demonstrates a clear increase in the second half of decade. The begin of foliation occurs earlier in the second half of the decade, than in the past.
