Humus composition of high in organic matter soils. II. Mountain-meadow soils

Profiles of mountain-meadow soils (22) were studied - Balkan mountain (9), Pirin (5) and Rila-Rhodops mountain (8). Distribution of organic carbon and organic matter fractions along the profile depth are presented. Established correlation coefficients (absolute and relative percentage) prove the difference between studied profiles depending on the soil formation conditions.
