This paper shows the results of a study on the influence of mobile systems on the changes in the soil and wheat, maize, sunflower, soybean and camomile yields in field headland and the interior part of the plot. The method for estimating headland width was given. The level of soil compaction in headland was 50-70% higher than in the plot interior. Shown in the paper are also results of the influence of soil compaction in headland and plot interior on water, physical, chemical and biological soil properties. Deterioration of all soil characteristics on headland was established relative to the plot interior. The following yield losses were determined in headland: wheat -45.24%, maize - 21.26%, sunflower - 74.50%, and soybean - 43.3%. The camomile yield on the other hand increased by 54%.
