Sand Asparagus species in economical point of view

Growing of green and pale asparagus is compared in this paper. The fields are not bearing full crop, that is why I modeled cost and income for a mature field. According to my calculations asparagus growing, both green and pale, is profitable in Hungary. Knowing the international trends asparagus growing can achieve great importance in Hungarian horticulture. Its importance lays in its labour demand and the good adaptation to poor soils. Hungarian asparagus could be one of our most important exported product on the European market, provided the export is not regulated.
