Among the preconditions and tasks of the environment protecting integrated fruit production (IFP) the role and possibilities of the growing site are manywise related also with nutrition. The importance of potassiummanifests itself not only in the physiological processes of plants. Under our continental climate stress effects occure on the plants (water shortage, fluctuation and extremity in temperature, high lime content or low pH at other places, small releasing intensity of nutrients caused by high fixation or low soil nutrient capacity).
