As regards breeding this regulation concerned to farmers producing sheep meat and goat meat, beef and veal in case of support schemes. As a consequence there is no common regulation rule in the other branch of animal production. Accordingly pig and poultry production should be controled by the rules of market. In terms of beef cattle sector Hungary is completly self-sufficient and one third of production can be exported as live cattle to Italy, Greece and Croatia.
