Anthelmintics like oxyclosanide, rafoxanide, albendazole, triclabendazole and closantel have been tried against Fasciola infection in cattle with variable results. Chemotherapy being the onlypractical measure to control this disease, flukicidal agents effective under field condition need to be evaluated from time to time, to counter the problem. Keeping this fact in view, the present study was chalked out to compare the efficacy of oxyclosanide, closantel and triclabendazole in rainfed areas of Orissa.
