Growth promoters are those substances which increase the body weight gain and play a key role in many physiological functions as well as stimulator of many hormone production. Exogenous administration of growth promoter should not have any adverse effect on normal metabolism of the body. The present study was formulated to elucidate the rate of growth as well as physiological state of the Black Bengal kid by studying the enzymes activities in serum and different tissues after injecting calcium, phosphorous and testosterone.
