System of indicators for evaluation of tourism specialist professional training

The training of tourism and hospitality specialists is professionally orientated, therefore the main educational and professional criteria is conformity with professional standards. According to the author there can be used System of Indicators for evaluation of tourism specialist professional training. This system allows evaluating knowledge and professional skills maximally objective including specialist self-appraisal. There are number of objective and subjective indicators in the system. Objective indicators are as follows: time in which specialist finds job after his graduation, time how long specialist is working at the first company, time how long specialist is working at the first company (job), time spending on the additional training in the job. Subjective indicators could be employer's references, graduate's references about study programme, new specialist assessment about ability to manage their duties, competitiveness of specialists for open vacancies (number of successors). Offered System of synthesised index allows evaluating professional training of new specialists in conditions when professional standards are not delivered or they are incomplete.
