Evaluation of lentil (Lens culinaris L.) genotypes to fusarium wilt

Vascular wilt of lentil is one of the major diseases of lentil causing significant yield reduction. Eighty-four lentil genotypes were screened under wilt sick plot during the winter season of 2001/2002 at Khumaltar and Nepalgunj, and 2000/2001 at Khumaltar. Twenty-seven genotypes and 3 genotypes were found resistant and moderately resistant at Khumaltar and Nepalgunj respectively. The line ILL 6256 was found highly resistant and ILL 2526 highly susceptible at Khumaltar. In the year 2000/2001 30 and 48 genotypes were found resistant and moderately resistant at Khumaltar respectively.
