There is great potential of untapped solar energy in our country. As such there is a great steed to develop an effective technique to harnesses this potential. In a similar study, the author has developed an air type solar energy heating system to warm up poultry houses in NWFP Pakistan. The system worked very well during the day but during the night its performance was not satisfactory. In order to improve file overall performance the present study was geared up. The heat storage unit mid the solar collector of the system already developed were improved by using thermopore sheets and improving the design of collector. The poultry house was sealed using aluminum cocking (material) to avoid leakage of heat energy. The experiments performed on file improved system and it was observed that the new system showed better performance in increasing the inside temperature by 69.17 percent comparing to the system developed earlier by the author.
