2002
Akbar, M. (PATA Integrated Agricultural Development Project, Swat (Pakistan)) | Khan, S.
Experiment was conducted to see the effect of different planting patterns on yield and its component on pea and to find out useful planting method for NWFP. The patterns were flat sowing, top ridge sowing, double ridge sowing and single ridge sowing. Result shows that planting pattern significantly affected days to emergence, flowering and plant height. Peas sown on top ridges germinated flowered and have height twice than the other treatments. Yield and yield components are also affected significantly by planting patterns top ridges sown peas gave maximum yield.
