Tanvir, M.A. | Siddiqui, M.T. | Khan, R.A. (University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (Pakistan). Dept. of Forestry)
The study was carried out to determine height, diameter at breast height (DBH) and Price of farm grown Eucalyptus camaldulensis in District Faisalabad. Maximum (more than 80%) height was attained within first 4 years of growth, whereas DBH increased rapidly and steadily up to 9 years and then started to decline. Prices per tree showed no increase in proportion to volume per year. It was heartening to note that price per cubic foot decreased with increase in volume per year. Hence harvesting during early years especially before 9 years is recommended for maximum return.
