In the present paper, details of cultivation and application of agrotechniques on Shankhpushpi (Evolvulus alsinoides) and Meswak (Salvadora persica) in Indian desert are presented. Seed sowing at 0.5 cm depth during 1st week of June and July in 1:2:1 (sand: clay: FYM) soil mixture ratio was favourable for maximum seedling emergence in E. alsinoides. FYM, NPK + FYM and NPK treated seedlings showed maximum growth. In S. persica, seed sowing at 1.0 cm depth in 1:2:1 soil mixture ratio during 1st week of June was suitable for maximum seedling emergence, while treatments with Hexameal and NPK for growth.
