Dietary habits considering fat consumption

The aim of the work was estimation of real and declared use of fat for spreading on bread and for frying. Inquiry investigation was done among 200 persons living in Podkarpacie region (Poland). Breakfast soft margarines prodominated among different types of fat used for spreading on bread (61.5 percent). The most often used for frying was universal and sunflower oil. Frequent use of lard particularly by people over 60 and people living in the country is noteworthy
