Factors affecting the participation of vegetable bank project's member under Ban Phai Community-Based Integrated Rural Development Center implementation in Khon Kaen province

Objectives of the study were investigate the participation of members under Vegetable Bank Project, some factors affecting their participation, constraints and also recommendations in their participation. Studied sample were 168 Vegetable Bank Project's member under Ban Phai Community-Based Integrated Rural Development Center through interview schedule. Statistical analysis were percentage, arithmetic means and Chi-square. The findings revealed that most of the members participated in the activities of project at moderate level. Comparative among the participation activities, included of decision-making, implementation, benefication and evaluation, it revealed that implementation was the most participation activities of members. The priority of the other activities were benefication, decision-making and evaluation, respectively. Total income's household and community leader were factors affecting their participation at significant level .05. Recommendations were 1) It should be some more detailed of project for more understanding among members; 2) Officers should supervise the project as the continuity 3) New technology under training program should be provided to member; 4) Implementation of the project should considered in location water resources, market and local leader of target village; 5) Group management and marketing training courses should be provided for the successfulness of member's activities.
