[Hygienic assessment of applying pesticides and agrochemicals in different soil and climatic zones of Ukraine]
2003
Vashtulat, M.P.
Studied are the intensity of using pesticides, mineral and organic fertilizers (PMOF) and territorial load (TL) thereof on the soil. Hygienic assessment of PMOF is considered by stages (before 1990 and after 1991). Indices of the PMOF and TL according to Ukraine's soil and climatic zones and oblasts are analyzed. It is noticed the uneven use of the PMOF in Ukraine and different coming thereof in environmental objects. According to results of studies of the Institute of Hygiene and Medical Ecology, for the main soil and climatic zones of Ukraine proposed are differential territorial PMOF loads at the following level: in the Steppe zone - 3.4-3.6 kg/ha, 100-125 kg/ha, and 6-10 kg/ha; in the Forest-Steppe - 3.0-3.3 kg/ha, 130-160 kg/ha and 10-13 t/ha; in the Polissya (Forest zone) - up to 3.0 kg/ha, 185-200 kg/ha and up to 15 t/ha correspondigly. For the recent decade PMOF TL are less than standard by several times. This requires additional hygienic investigations in the up-to-day conditions
