In 2003 the most harmful pests were grape-berry-moth and felt tick. Their characteristic is given, a complex of measures is recommended to limit their number and reduce yield losses (breeding and chemical methods). It is proposed, while growing the grapes, to limit the areas treated with agricultural chemicals taking into consideration economic thresholds of the number of pests, spread of weeds and forecast of developing the diseases. For this purpose a preliminary survey is to be carried out and the fields are to be determined, where there is an actual threat of yield loss
