Kanchannagar, Kazipiara, Mukundapuri and Swarupkathi were evaluated at Agricultural Research Station, Khagrachari hill district during growing period of 1990-1991 on three different hill elevations expressed as hill foot, mid hill and hill top. Guava varieties showed significant influence on growth parameters. Kanchannagar plant spreaded widely with greatest height and Kazipiara was inferior in growth parameters. Mukundapuri produced largest base girth and maximum number of primary branches. Plants on hill foot showed superior growth over mid hill and hill top. Kanchannagar outgrew all other varieties irrespective of hill positions. In almost all growth parameters drastically decreased with the increase of elevation.
