Correction factor k, 500E/fP*[2) or could approximate from 14.1853-0.2929 (percent clay) was derived from a ratio of water used in extraction of salts from soil (500/P) and extraction fraction of salt for EC 1:5 (E/fP). Soil samples in this study were collected from 41 locations complied of 67 samples, stratified into clay content class as 10 percent, 10-20 percent, 21-35 percent and 35 percent. Existing EC 1:5 and Existing ECe of all soil samples were measured, Estimated ECe was computed from correction factor 500E/fP*[2) and Existing EC 1:5. Regression-correlation analysis and t-test were used in verifying reliability of the correction factor k. The result of this experiment revealed that the correction factor k
