Effects of various mulches on asparagus production

Use of various mulches on asparagus was conducted to improve the yield. The experiment was randomized block design with 7 treatments : sand, rice hull, charcoal, coconut husk, peanut hull, straw, compost manure and no mulch. The coconut husk gave the highest yield followed by peanut hull, sand, straw, compost manure, rice hull, charcoal and control respectively. There was no statistical significant among treatments.
